ComiCentric Issue 98: A Tepid Trek into March Madness
In a quaint little pond nestled among rolling hills, there lived a small fish. Who was content swimming among the lily pads and reeds, but he dreamed of exploring beyond the confines of his small pond.
As the fish grew, he realized that he possessed a unique talent for leaping higher and swimming faster than any of his pond-mates. Encouraged by his natural abilities, he set his sights on becoming a big fish in the small pond.
He began by practicing his jumps and dives tirelessly, earning admiration from the other creatures in the pond. Soon, his fame had spread far and wide, and he became known as the fastest, most skilled jumper in the entire pond.
However, this fish ambitions didn’t stop there. He yearned to test his skills in larger bodies of water, so he bid farewell to his friends and set off on a journey to find a bigger pond.
In the new pond, fish faced stiff competition from other fish vying for the title of the biggest and fastest. Undeterred, he persevered, honing his abilities and adapting to the new environment.
With each passing day, he grew stronger and more confident. Before long, Fish’ reputation as a skilled and determined fish spread far and wide.
But the fish journey didn’t end there. Driven by an insatiable thirst for adventure, he set his sights on the vast ocean beyond the pond. With a leap of faith, he embarked on his most daring adventure yet braving the open waters and unknown dangers of the ocean.
As he swam into the endless expanse, Finley marveled at the vastness of the ocean and the endless possibilities that lay ahead. With each stroke of his fins, he knew that no matter how big he became, there would always be new horizons to explore and new challenges to overcome.
And so, the small fish who once dreamed of being a big fish in a small pond became an adventurer of the seas, ready to carve out his own destiny in the great wide ocean.
