Werewolf by Night, Therewolf by Day.

Ever looked at the moon and thought man how are you not falling on us? How does the moon stay up there? And is there really a rabbit up there? Looks more like a birthmark I have on myway to mind your own business.

There are lots of lore that follows the moon but none more notorious than werewolves. Originating in Greek myth the lycan has become a bit of a thrope. Transformed this time not by the moon but by Hollywood, the werewolf must find new ways to stay alive.

Filmed in black and white Werewolf by Night encapsulate the nostalgic feel of a by gone era of film making. Where the monsters where larger than life and the scares weren’t cheap and the effects where practical.

The End.

Tell you this much, made me itch for more wolf movies and having seen The Wolf Man a million times I opted for the classic and lycanthrope film ‘An American Werewolf in Paris’. Followed by what I consider a masterpiece I the wolf culture cinema, ‘My Mom’s a Werewolf’. Staring the immaculate Susan Blakely and well-known gunslinger John Saxon, this early 90s video rental never disappointed.
