What a new year means to me? Nothing. Just another day in the books. I understand that we need a reset of the calendar and it’s nice to know how many times we been around the sun. A sun spiraling in the vast void of emptiness a bajillion mile an hour. A prolific ride with no end in sight…
… oh, but this is about new year!
A time that a lot of people use as an excuse to make and break speculations on their own person. The wishes we have upon ourselves are nice. But only the few and the determined get to their own finish line.
The best goals are the ones we make on the daily on the weekly and on the monthly. they ones you keep grinding at. The ones that give you the best, most gratifying, outcome are the ones that you should work on. If you can’t keep one freaking promise to yourself, how are you going to keep it for someone not yourself.
You can’t know what love is if you don’t truly love yourself. So, check yourself and love yourself just a little. You got the whole year to work on one thing. And its not you. Then there and only after then can you go out and help others.
And if you’re that one-person who’s like oh that’s what I’m all about that self-loving. Making sure you take care of head. Well fuck you too, I’m proud of you. Now go out and start branching out. You think your core is stable enough to handle a few leaves. Then by all means keep it up.
